Sneak Preview “The Nutrition Prescription”
April 29, 2008
I’m still finishing up the full-length “The Nutrition Prescription” teleseminar series. It should be ready by mid May. But I thought I would share some beginning information with you. Keep checking back because I have lots more to come!
This presentation is the same information Dr. James Gordon teaches at his annual Food as Medicine conference for health professionals. If you don’t know Dr. Gordon, he was the chairman of the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine in 2002. You can see the full report here. Jim has been a mentor to me and I’m most grateful for his presence in my life.
The Healthy Whole Foods Diet
What’s a Whole Food, Anyway?
Do you ever wonder, “Just what the heck do they mean when they talk about whole foods? Is a Chicken McNugget a whole food? How about a Whooper? And do you ever wonder about Wonder Bread?” If so, you are not alone. This video will explain all this and much more!
This should get you started… but keep an eye out for a bunch more really cool free stuff that I’m going to be sending you…
Go ahead and leave a comment below… tell me what you think of “The Healthy Whole Foods Diet”…
Warmly,
Dr. Pam

Thanks, Pam! Great presentation! My current goal is to have 50% of every meal be made up of whole, raw foods. I thought it would be easy, but in this day and age of quick and fast, it’s been tougher than I expected.

Dr. Pam here..
Thanks for kind words, Leah! You are right - it’s a little harder to keep fresh, raw and whole foods around the house. It makes shopping a more frequent necessity but well worth the effort! Keep it up.
Warmly,
Pam

Hey Dr Pam
Great presentation!
Could we have a little more info on processing? Specifically oil fry /broth stirfry/ boil/ bake below 300/ bake above 300/ grill/ microwave/ steam/ toast… even just a ranking of the methods from worst to best preservation of nutrients would be great basic info. Thanks a bunch and keep the info coming
